SALES OF SHOW STOCK.
The following information is from the Otago Daily Times of to-day :—These weye greatly interfered with, by the pouring rain. Some of the fat stock sold pretty well, but the sales of pedigreed stock were of no importance, Mr. Menlove offered his white shorthorn bulls Lord Irwin and Christmas Knight, but both were passed without a bid. Mr. I), Grant (of Granton) sold his roan bull Lord Louis, by Lord Chancellor, out of Louisa 10th, to Mr. Lyons, for 25 guineas. Mr. John Shennan'a prize bull St. Andrew was sold to Mr. James Maben (Southland) for 75 guineas. The New Zealand and Australian Land Company offered one or two of their young bulls, bqfc got no offers. Messrs. Clark, Charters, and Gemmell offered some Ayrshire stock, but only one sale was effected—Mr. GemmeU selling a young bull to Mr. Garmichael (Taieri) for six guineas.
