Specimens of Caswell Sound Marble can be seen at any of tha Museums in New Zealand ; the Chamber of Commerce, Wellington ; or on application to any of the ofacers of the Company. . . In introducing this eligible investment to the notice of the public. thepromotere desire to state that the Com J any's right comprise the best, most available, extensive, and perhaps m<"a"E v valuable Marble deposits in >he known worl l, at all events in the Southern Hemisphere* This is sufficiently proved by Caswell Sound Marble securing the first prize at the late Sydney Exhibition against Italian Statuary and other .valuable varieties. They also wish to dwell upon its known certainty and noa-speculative character, the ultimate success of this venture bejing now well established. The lowest quotation for thi3 Marble is 12s per loot, and ranges up to £5. Larger blocks are, however, much more valuable, some pa .-a White Statuary, without flaws, realising as mach as £20,000 sterling in Europe. The ordinary price for a block suitable for a lifesize hnman statue being about £IOOO. The present cost of producing this Marble by irr«pTT<il labor only is about 23 per cubic foot, f.o.b. These figures may appear incredible, but they are nevertheless absolutelycorrect. Thus, taking the cost of production as stated, »nd the very lowestwholeaalequotation at !2s per foot, gives the apparently fabulous minimum nU of EOl) percent- profit. It is therefore, no visionary matter, a3 these are leading commercial lines and the values well known, the facilities of production, shipment, high quality of product, giving a vast advantage over any like .prop rfcy in tne world. We will also venture to predict that tfie of the Company's shares will increase at least 300 per cent, within twelve months of issue. Referring to consumption of these commodities, it 13 also enormous. The consumption of Marble, Portland Cement, and lime, in the Australian Colonies alone during the last twelve months has been £2,872,G00 sterling, and is rapidly increasing. Caswall Sound is a commodious and safe harbor for the largest vessels in all weather?, the vorks of the Company being situated st the water's edge. The Government of this colony has also promised to favorably consider special grants and concessions in aid aa Boon as the - Compmy is successfully floated. For further psrticulars re other minerals found at the Soosd, copper, coal, gold, 4c., also the manufacture of hydraulic »«TTicnfe, lime, &c., together with scientific, professional, Government, and other reports, with details of the objects and intentions of the Company, we refer to the Prospectus, which can be obtained upon application to any of the officers of the Compandor from Company's Agents, tha Bank cf New Zealand, Oamaru, and at any of their branches in this colony and Australia.
