The dazzling electric light, of which so much has been aid, i 3 nsed to illuminate the vast exhibi-tion-tents, which contain nearly a million pris of canvas. This refulgent light is of such remarkable brilliance that every object around i 3 made distinctly discernible, though the night be of inky darkness. The zoological wonders are a special item of interest, and will consist of animals, beasts, and birds—dens of performing African lions, leopards, tigers, kenas, sea lion 3 (weighing tons), snakes and reptiles, elephants, camels, and atwoiornea black rhinoceros are prominent features. Not 1e33 than eight bare-back riders will enter the arena, and the appearance of Mdlle. Lind Jeal, the only jiving- female rider who dashes through loops of fire, ia considered the sensation par excellence. A troupe of aerial bitjcle ridera will accomplish herculean fats upon a single strand of wire suspended some 50ft. above the ground. These are only a few of the many features, jet they will serve to illustrate the immensity of the enterprise. Men who ride seven horses at once, and hurl themselves overaherd of elephants and camels at a lini'le leap, are a'so principal attractions in this great show, which will be opened kcr.e night only in Oamaru on the 20th December.
