MR. MAUDE'S LAND SALE.

The available space in Mr. A. H. Maude's auction room was crowded to-day, the occasion being the sale of lands in th'c estate of the lat« Mr. Mitchell. The Spring Yalley Farm, situated in the Waiareba district, and 183 acres in area, was purchased by Mr. Sims, of Kakanui, at Lll- per acre. The land at Hekateramea sold for the following prices :—Sections 32,621, 32,620, and 31,846, 84a. Or. 23p., Mr. R. West, at L2 2s per acre ; section 32,618, 69a. lr. 33p., Mr. James Lees (agent for Mr. Joseph Lees), at L2 14s per acre; sections 33,291 and 32,567, 51a. 2r., Mr. Hugh Barclay, at L2 2s per acre ; section 32,760, 109 a. 2r., Mr. Hugh Barclay, at L2 7s per acre ; sections 33,039 and 30,040, 35a. 3r. 6p., Messrs. Somnjerville and M'Combe, at "LI 16s per acre ; section 32,069, 34a. 2r., Mr. R. Wilson, at LI 17s per acre ; section 31,848,172 a. 2r., Mr. G. Graham, at LI 17s per acre; section 31,847, 11a. 2r.
