The Gazette to-day announces that Mr. P. A. Jennings, Executive Commissioner of the Sydney Exhibition, has been created a Knight Commander, and that Mr. John Davies, a prominent member of the Sydney Commission, has been created a Companion of the Order of St. Michael and St. George. Mi-. ParnelFs private secretary, has been arrested under a warrant charging him with conspiracy. Athens, October 27. Conmoundouros, the newly-appointed Greek Premier, will, it is announced, act without his colleagues, and, as President of the Council, will be the sole responsible minister of the king. Paris, October 27.
