These samples may all be described as full-flavored, fruity, aromatic Wines; possessing in a considerable degree that agreeable fragrance that characterises genuine Port. They do not contain impurities of any kind. The perfect freeness of these Wines from eveyy kind of impurity, the proportion of sugar and alcohol which they coD.tjdn being quite characteristic of unadulterated, unmanipulated Wine, together with their rich fragrance arising from aromatic ethers, should strongly recommend them, and gain for them a good place in the Colonial market. The Drying Rooms are now in full work, and the result has fully justified the expense incurred. It ia intended to use only such timber as has been subjected to this process jn leaking up Furniture and Wocdware, this cannot fail to favorably influence the demand for the Company's Manufactures. The attention of Builders and Contraetora is specially drawn to the advantages derivable from the use of timber which has undergone this prooess of seasoning, and which are: A perfect freedom from clinging, and a consequent absence of the unseemly joints so noticeable in ordinary workmanship! as well as a greater durability in t,he material employed. A knowledge pi these facts must eventually to the extensive use of this Seasoned' Timber in all works were such advantages are a desideratum. SEASONED TIMBER for the Trade will be supplied oo favorable terms, which can be learned on application at the Company's Offices personally, or by letter. THE HARDWARE DEPARTMENT stocks are of the most complete description, and are being largely added to on the arrival of each vessel from the British and American markets. The Company is prepared to supply customers with everj requisite in the Ironmongery trade at the lowest market rates. THE FURNITURE DEPARTMENT possesses a special feature in the introduction of local woods into the manufactures, and the successful s? t le of articles of this nature marks tho appreciation of the Company's efforts in this direction. Special attention is given to use only such timber for this class of work as has been thoroughly seasoned by the new process lately introduced by the Company, and Customers can therefore be guaranteed against the failure of any articles from the use of timber. The stools imported goods comprise a flng selection of Dining-room, Drawing-room, and Bedroom Suites in a variety of designs; Pianos by the best makers ; a selection o Parisian goods; and every requisite for complete furnishing.
