ERECTION OF TIMBER DRYING ROOMS. —The difficulty experienced by all consumers in procuringsupplies of thoroughly Seasoned Timber is - well known, and 1 induoed the Company to erect at very considerable cost a complete set of Drying Rooms, capable of seasoning in one parcel over 100,000 feet of timber, to meet this much-felt want. The Drying Rooms are now in full work, and the result has fully justified the expense incurred. It is intended tc> 'ftse only such timber as has been subjected to this process in making up Furniture and Woodware, and this cannot fail to favorably influence the demand for the Company's Manufactures.. The attention of Builders and Contractors is specially drawn to the advantages derivable from the' use of timber which has undergone this process of sbasoning, and which are:i A perfect freedom from digging, and a consequent absence of the unseemly joints so noticeable iii ordinary workmanship, as ■ well as a greater durability in the material employed. A knowledge of these facts must eventually lead to the extensive use of this Seasoned Timber in all works were such advantages are a desideratum. SEASONED TIMBER for the Trade will be supplied on favorably terms, which can be learned on application at the Company's Ofiftces personally, or by letter. THE HARDWARE DEPARTMENT stocks of the most complete description, and Are being largely added to on the arrival of "each vessel from the British and American markets. The Company is 'prepared to supply customers with every requisite in the Ironmongery trade at the lowest market rates. / THE FURNITURE DEPARTMENT possesses a Bpeeial feature in the introduction of' local woods into the - manufactures, and the successful sale of articles of this nature marks the appreciation of the Company's .efforts in this direction. Special attention is given to use only such timber for this class of work as has been thoroughly seasoned by the new process lately introduced by the Company, and Customers can therefore be guaranteed against, the failure of any articles from the use of unseasoned timber. The stocks of imported! goods comprise a fine selection of Dining-room, Drawing-room, and Bedroom Suites in] a variety of designs; Pianos by t&e best makers ; a selection q Parisian goods; and every requisite fop complete furnishing. THE STOCKS OF CARPETS, consisting of Brussels, Tapestry, Kidder, Felt, and Jute, are specially worthy of inspection, being most varied, and all; carefully selected by the Company's London Buyer.
