AtrcnONKHKS' REPORTS. Mr. George Greenfield reports that he held a sale of household furniture, drapery, fancy goods, when the attentance was large bat the bidding languid. At 2 o'clock he held a sale of horses, prices ranging from L 5 to LS. He alao held a sale of clothing and general drapery in the evening, when the attendance wa3 good, and very fair prices were realised. Messrs. Council and Clowes report the sale by auction, on Saturday, on account of Major Evans, of the following properties : Sections 1, 4, and part of 2, block 17, Oamaru District, containing 20Ca. 2r. 3Sp.. being the homestead portion of the Ctoon Eavin farm, to Mr. J. T. Evans (price, Ll2 12s. 6d. per acre); and part of section 2, same block, containing li2a. (price, LIO per acre), to Messrs. Thos. and W\ Henderson, of Cave Valley. Mr.Richard Leigh reportshavingheld a sale on Saturday, at the Swan Yards, of a spring dray, horse, harness, etc.; thn dray, horse, and harness realised L 35, and lamps, covers, aad sundry other items obtained full rates. Also* at hia mart, at 1 o'clock, a lot of furniture, croekery, glassware, fancy goods, etc. The attendance wa3 only moderate, and the bidding slack, most of the lots submitted found purchasers at prices slightly lower than last sales. Laery and Campbell report:— Eggs, Is 6d; fresh butter, in lib pats, Is 2d, in lumps, Is to 13 2d; salt butter, 6d; potatoes, 473 6d to 50s; hams and bacon, nominal, 8d to 9d, no demand ; cheese, languid, at 5d to s|d ; bran, 8d: pollard, L 5 5s ; onions, Ss to 10s; chick wheat, 3s 3d; maize, 4s 3d.
