GPyAHAMSTOWIf, July 17. , A rmeeting was held at the Theatre Royal last evening, when upwards of 1000 perso.ns present* ■ It was" decided, after some discussion, to send the following resolution to the Government: —" That this meeting has entire confidence in Mr. Kenrick as Resident Magistrate and Warden for this district, and desires to testify to the strict impartiality which has distinguished his judicial proceedings." The resolution H'as carried unanimously, and the greatest ;i enthusiasm.prevailed. : j.
