The match between the Australians and eighteen of Malton, in was resumed to-day, when the H"me team continued their second innings, which was stopped yesterday owing to the inplemency of the weather. They were all disposed of for 95 runs. The Australians then went in for their second innings, having 87 runs to make to win. They won the match by four wickets. Consols are quoted at 98$, ex dividend.
New Zealand securities are unchanged. Adelaide wheat and flour and Australian tallow are at last quotations. ' June 10.
The Secretary of State for the Colonies (Earl Kimberley) has sent an official despatch to the Lieut.-Governor of Natal, instructing him to avoid allowing an extension of territory to be a plea for disputes between the colonists and native tribes, and to abstain from interference with the free tribes.
Information has been received that the Albanians are disbanding, and the re? sumption of hostilities with Montenegro is not improbable. Calcutta, June 10. The Viceroy of India has sent an order to General Stewart to evacuate Cabul by November. It is expected that Garidamuk and Shutargardan will be the extreme points in Afghanistan that will be retained by the British. Constantinople, June 9.
The Grand Vizier and Sava Pasha, Minister for Foreign Affairs, have resigned. .Kaddri Pasha, Minister of Commerce, has been appointed President of the Council of Ministers, and Abeddin Pasha has been appointed Minister for Foreign Affairs, with the rank of Grand Vizier. It is thought probable that the division on the Reform Bill take place on Thursday next. Mr. Williams, the member for Mandurang, who introduced the Bill for the payment of members in the Legislative Assembly, has consented -to limit the period of the operation of the measure. The Government will facilitate its passage through Parliament. King Geoe&e's Sound, June 9.
The P. and O. Company's steamer Siam arrived here to-day from Galle with the inward Suez mail. Brisbane, June 10. It has been stated by the Colonial Secretary that the balance of the Queensland loan had been offered in the colony by several wealthy institutions.
