(REUTER'S TELEGRAM, PHP. PRESS ASSOCIATION) London, April 20. Arrived—Hurunui, from Lyttelton, left January 23; Loch-na-gar, from Gigborne, left January 9. April 22. The Beaconsfield Ministry have tendered tlieir resignations to the Queen, It is stated that her Majesty will accept the resignation, and that she had summoned Lord Hartingdon to form . the new Ministry, but he declined to undertake the task in favor of the Right Hon. W. E. Gladstone. Mr. Montagu Corry, C.8., private secretary to the Earl of Beaconsfield, when Prime Minister, has been raised to the Peerage, Sir Charles Gavin Dully, late Speaker of the .Victorian Assembly has been invited to stand for an Irish borough in the Home Rule interest.
