THE LABOR MARKET. Mr. Henry Macintosh reports for the week ending 19th March, aa follows: There is a healthy and steady demand for all classes of labor during the week, but still the supply is greatry in excess of the demand, more especially in men. Married couples are plentiful; shepherds, married or single, cooks (male or female), fencers, storemen, clerks, bookkeepers, managers for station or farm, hotel hands, good experienced house servants, are scarce; and, also nurse girls.
