NORTH OTAGO HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY.

President—Dr. de Laiitour ; Mr. D. S, Montagu ; Hon. Sec.—Mr, M. Spratt; Committee—Messrs Lemon, Connell, Forsyth, Hartley, Heywood, Moloney, Glen, and Earle.

The autumn show of this Society was opened at the Volunteer Hall this afternoon, and is far superior to what it was expected to be owing to the unfavorable , season. We have not space to enter into 1 details, but we may fairly say that the exhibition is well worth a visit of inspection.
