These samples may all be described as full-flavored, fruity, aromatic Wines; possessing in a considerable degree that agreeable fragrance that characterises genuine Port. Thsy do not contain impurities of any kind. The perfect freeness of these Wineß from every kind of impurity, the proportion of sugar and alcohol which they contain being! quite characteristic of unadulterated, ■ un-; manipulated Wine, together with their rich. fragrance arising from aromatic ethers,; should strongly recommend them, and gain for them a good place in the Colonial market. ERECTION OF TIMBER DRYING ROOMS. —The difficulty experienced by all consumers in procuring supplies of thoroughly Seasoned Timber is well known, and has induced the Compapy io erect at very considerable cost a, complete set of Drying Rooms, capable of seasoning in one parcel over 100,000 feet of timber, to meet this much-felt want. The Drying Rooms.,are now in full work, and the result has fully justified the expense incurred.'' It is intended to use only such timber as has been subjected to this process in making up Furniture and Wood ware, and this cannot fail to favorably influence tjie for the Company' 3 Manufactures. The attention of Builders and Contractors is specially drawn to the advantages derivable from the use of. timber which has undergone this; process of seasoning, and which are: A perfect freedom from clinging, and a consequent'sbsenfje at tjfa unggemly joints so; noticeable in ordinary workmanship, as well 1 as a greater durability in, the material, employed. A knowledge of these facts must eventually lead to the extonsive use of this Seasoned Timber ia all works were, such advantages are, a desideratum. THE HARDWARE DEPARTMENT stocks are of the most complete description, aud are being largely added to on the arrival of each vessel from tbe British and American markets. The Company is prepared to supply customers with every requisite in the Ironmongery trade at the lowest market rates.

THE FURNITURE DEPARTMENT possesses a special feature in the introduction of local -woods into the manufactures, and the successful sale of articles of this nature marks the appreciation of the Company's efforts in this direction. Special attention is given to use only such timber for this class of -work as has been thoroughly seasoned by the new. process lately introduced by the Company, and Customers can therefore be guaranteed against the failure of any articles from the use. of unseasoned timber. The stocks of imported goods comprise a fine selection of Dining-room, Drawing-room, and Bedroom Suites in a variety of designs; Pianos by the best makers ; a selection o Parisian goods ; and every requisite for complete furnishing. THE STOCKS OP CARPETS, consisting of Brussels, Tapestry, Kidder, Felt,- and Jute, are specially -worthy of inspection, being most varied, and all carefully selected by the Company's London Buyer.
