TO-DAY'S RACES. Four thousand persons are on the course to-day. The weather is simply beautiful. For the Steeplechase Lonehand, Thilo, Robin Pood, and Scamp
faced the starter. The latter was served up as a wariri favorite.- At: the ' third hurdle Robin Hood, who was last, slipped and fell at the water jump. Lonehand baulked three times, and when lib did get over the jump he was clean out of the race, and pulled up on going past "the stand.
