ERECTION OF TIMBER DRYING ROOMS. —The difficulty experienced by all consumers in p rocur in a supplies of thor ou ghly Seasoned Timber is well known, and has induced the Company to erect at very considerable cost a complete set of Drying Rooms, capable of seasoning in one parcel over IOO.OtiO feet of timber, to meet this much-felt want. The Drying Rooms are now in full work, and the result has fully justified the expense incurred. It is intended to use oniy such timber as has been subjected to this process in making up Furniture and Wood ware, and this cannot Jail to favorably ii.fluence the demand for the Company's Manufactures. The attention ot iJuUders and Contractors is specially drawn to the advantages derivable from the use of timber which has undergone this process of seasoning, and which are: A perfect freedom from clirging, and a consequent absence of the nnseemly joints so noticeable in ordinary workmanship, as well 33 a greater durability in tne material employed. THE FURNITUKE DEPARTMENT possesses a special fnatuic in the introduction of local woods into the manufactures, and the successful sale of articles of this nat-rre marks the appreciation of the Company's efforts in this direction.
