ERECTION OK TIMBER DRYING ROOMS. —The difficulty experienced by all i eonsnmcrsin procuring suppliesof thoroughly Seasoned Timber is well known, and has induced tho Company to erect at very considerable cost a complete set of Drying Rooms, capable of seasoning in one parcel over 100,000 feet of timber, to meet this much-felt want. The Drying Rooms are now in full work, and the result has fully justified the expense incurred. It is intended to use only such timber as ha 3 been subjected to this process in making up Furniture and Woodware, and this cannot fail to favorably influence the demand for the Company's Manufactures. The attention of Builders and Contractors is specially drawn to the advantages derivable from the use of timber which has undergone this process of seasoning, and .which are: A perfect freedom from clinging, and a consequent absence of the unseemly joints so noticeable in ordinary workmanship, as well as a greater durability in the material employed. A knowledge of these facts must eventually lead to the extensive nse of this Seasoned Timber in all works were such advantages are a desideratum. THE HARDWARE DEPARTMENT stocks are of the most complete description, and arc being largely added to on the arrival of each vessel from the British and American markets. The Company is prepared to snpply customers with ever} requisite in the Ironmongery trade at the lowest market rates. THE FURNITURE DEPARTMENT possesses a special feature in the introduction of local woods into the manufactures, and the successful sale of articles of this nature marks the appreciation, cf the Company's efforts in this direction. Special attention i 3 given to use only such timber for this class of work as has heen thoroughly seasoned by the new process lately introduced by the Company, and Customers can therefore be guaranteed against the failure of any articles from the use of unseasoned timber. The stocks of imported goods comprise a fine selection of Dining-room, Drawing-room, and Bedroom Suites in a variety of designs; Pianos by the best makers ; a selection o Parisian goods ; and every requisite for complete furnishing. THE STOCKS OF CARPETS, consist ing of Brussels, Tapestry, Kidder, Felt, and Jute, are specially worthy of inspection, being most varied, and all carefully selected by the Company's London Buyer.
