All entries and acceptances must be ic sealed cows, addressed to the Secretary, and contain entrance money, sweepstakes, description and age of horse. The jockey's colors, thoae registered excepted, mast be stated in the entrance form, under a penalty of 2 sovs, which while unlrqidated will disqualify any horse whose <ywner or nominator has incurred such a penalty. All peraou3 intending to withdraw horses are required to give notice to that effect to the Secretary or Clerk of the Scales at leasu half an honr before the advertised time of starting. Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this rule shall piy a fine to be imposed by the Stewards, not exceeding 5 sova to the race fund. In the event of any person entering a protest, the sum of L2 2a must be lodged with the Secretary before such protest is considered ; this sum to be forfeited to the funds should, the Stewards consider the protest frivolous or vexatious. Five per cent, will be deducted from the gross of all moneys paid in accordance with the programme lor expenses. All disputes, claims, and objections arising eat of the racing shall be decided by the Stewards, or whoever they may appoint.
