Quicksilver was imported from England by J. W. Ladbrook, Esq., to Canterbury in 1864. He was bred by John Coker, : Esq.* Lynn, Norfolk, by Prick willow. His dam, a Phenomenon mare, the property of John Bond, Esq., Old Priokwillow, was the champion of all roadsters.

GOLDPINDER has taken several first prizes as the best Hackney Stallion at some of the principal shows as a weight-carrier and roadster'; his equal is not in the Province.
