The Havelock annual race meeting took place on Saturday, and, despite the weather, it was very successful. Rain poured in torrents all the morning, and, in consequence of this, the visitors from 1 town, either by road or rail, were comparatively few. In the afternoon, how--1 ever, the weather cleared, and the assemblage on the course increased. The following are the events : Handicap Hurdle Race.
