RESPECTING the proposal to borrow a further sum of L 50,000 for the purpose of completing the Worlcs now in progress for the said supply of the Town of Oamaru with water, and pledging as security therefor the rents and profits of the Sections of Land enumerated in the Schedule to the Oamaru Town Reserves Management Act, 1879, together with such sum not exceeding One Shilling in the Pound out of the Annual Assessment of the said Town as may be required to make up the annual interest upon the said sum, I do hereby certify that, at a Poll of the Ratepayers taken pursuant to the Oamaru Waterworks Act, 1875, Amendment Act, 1879, for and against the said proposal, the result was as follows : For the proposal ...
