(FROM OUK OWN CORRESPONDENTS.) CHRISTCHURCK. November 15. On John Tyrrell, an actor, arrested at Dunedin for obtaining money by means of a valueless cheque and remanded to Christchureh, being confronted with the prosecutor, the latter stated he was not the man. Mr. Tyrrell was at once taken before the Resident Magistrate, and discharged. He was franked to Invercargiil, where lie was on the point of starting when arrested by the police authorities.
