The Drying Rooms arc now in full work, and tlm result lias fully j-istiiied the expense incurred. It is intended to use only such timber as has been subjected to this process in making up Furniture and Wood ware, and this cannot fail to favorably iulluenee the demand for the Company's Manufactures. The attention of Builders and Contractors is specially drawn to the advantages derivable from tho use of timber which has undergone this process of seasoning, and which are: A perfect freedom from clinging, and a consequent absence of the unseemly joints so noticeable in ordinary workmanship, as well as a greater durability in the material employed. A knowledge of these facts must eventually lead to the extensive use of this Seasoned Timber in all works were such advantages are a desideratum. FACTORY DEPARTMENT.—The alteration to the Factory, just completed, has enabled the introduction of various new woodworking-machines, rendered necessary by the constantly increasing demand ior woodware of the Company's manufacture. The Factory may now be considered the most elaborate of its kind in the world, and the expedition with which the most intricate orders can be dispatched will commend itself to the public. THE HARDWARE DEPARTMENT stocks are of the most complete description, and are being largely added to on tho arrival of each vessel from the British and American markets. The Company is prepared to supply customers with every requisite in the Ironmongery trade at the lowess market rates. THE FURNITU.uE DEPARTMENT possesses a special feature in the introduce tion of local woods into the manufactures, and the successful sale of articles of ttkia nat'ire marks the appreciation of the Company's efi'orts in this direction. Special attention is given to use only such timber for this class of work as has been thoroughly seasoned by the new process lately introduced by the Company, and Customers can therefore be guaranteed against the failure of any articles from the use of unseasoned timber. The stocks of imported goods comprise a fine selection of Dining-room, Drawing-room, and Bedroom Suites in a variety of designs; Pianos by the best makers ; a selection o Parisian goods ; and every requisite for complete furnishing.
