NORTH OTAGO AGRICULTURAL AND PASTORAL ASSOCIATION.
The usual monthly meeting of the Committee was held to-day in the Secretary's oifiee. Mr. T. Henderson presided, and there was a fair attendance of members. The minutes of last meeting were read and confirmed, and the outward and inward correspondence was read. Judges in the several classes were nominated. It was resolved that a short advertisement announcing the date of closing of entries be inserted in a number of papers. It was resolved that tenders be iuvitiid for a baud of music for the show days, and Messrs. Jack, Falconer, and Council were appointed a Committee to open the tenders and to arrange the programme. Messrs. Hedley, Falconer, Ronaync, and Connell were, appointed, a Lunch Committee.
On the motion of Mr, Todd, seconded by Mr. Borrie, it was agreed that the Secretary bo allowed 10 extra luncheon ticketa to give to officials of other societies, and that each steward be allowed one extra ticket to give to visitors for each day's show. It was resolved that the privileges of gates and booths be sold by auction. After a ballot the choice fell to Mr. A. H. Maude as auctioneer. After some other routine business the meeting closed.
