Oraha.MST<V,V.N-, September 17. The following pigeon message was received at the Advertiser uili.ee to-night : Pareora, September 17.—Tukukino has just returned from an interview with the Ngatihakoe. They will not give themselves up, and they will not consent to bo given up. Tukukino says he would call the Maoris into one settlement, and let thepakeha do as he likes with Ngatihakoe. The reply was, " Very well, let the pakeha conic and take us iL lie can.'' A mounted messenger has been sent with a despatch to Grahamstown. Tukukino has called a meeting of all the natives for to-morrow.
