(from our own correspondents.) DUNEDIN. September 4. All the candidates gave short addresses. Mr. Reeve's announced that he would contest the next election. Mr. Green addressed a large meeting at the Port last night, and received a vote of confidence by a large majority. Mr. Carrick has retired for Caversham, so as not to split the Liberal vote.
