At the wool sales to-day prices were well sustained ; 95G8 bales were sold. Emigration schemes are numerous. Eighty Yorkshire farmers have already started for Texas. Sydney, August 29. Falmouth is still a firm favorite for the Derby, at four to one. The rowing match between Trickett and Laycock takes place to-day. Trickett is being backed at two to one on him. Forty thousand people are proceeding to the scene of the contest, which has excited a vast amount of interest.
