The district to extend from Awamoko to Longslip Station on Tjhe Otago side, thence from Lake Ohau to Elephant Hill on the Canterbury side, by the Watershed. All horses qualified must be known to be the bona jide property of the nominator, and to have been three months in the district prior to the meeting. No horse will be allowed to run that has won LSO or over. Second horse to receive half the entrance money in all events. Qualification fee, LI. Three horses to start or no race. All entries must bo sent in to the Secretary, Wharekuri Hotel, not later than 10 p.m. on the night prior to the meeting. _ The Otago Jockey Club rules strictly adhered to. Five per cent, to be deducted from all stakes. The decision of the stewards in all case to be final. No protest will be entertained unless accompanied with LI, which will be forfeited should the same prove frivolous.
