ERECTION OF TIMBER DRYING ROOMS. -The difficulty experienced by all consumers in procuring supplies of thoro u ghly Seasoned Timber ia -well known, and has induced the Company to erect at very considerable cost a complete set of Drying Rooms, capable of seasoning in one parcel over 100,000 feet of timber, to meet this much-felt want. The Drying Rooms are now in full work, and the result has full, justified the expense incurred. It is intended to use only such timber as has been subjected to this process in making up Furniture and Woodware, and this cannot fail to favorably influence the demand for the Company's Manufactures. The attention of Builders and Contractors is specially drawn to the advantages derivable from the use of timber which has undergone this proce'ss of seasoning, and which arc: A perfect freedom from clinging, and a consequent absence of the unseemly joints so noticeable in ordinary workmanship, as well as a greater durability in the material employed. A knowledge of these facts must eventually lead to the extensive use of this Seasoned Timber in all "vvorky were sucn advantages are a desideratum. The Factory may now be considered the most elaborate of its kind in the world, an;l the expedition with which the most intricate orders can be dispatched will commend itself to the public. THE HARDWARE DEPARTMENT stocks are of the most complete description, and are being largely added to on the arrival of <-aeh vessel from the British and American markets. The Company is prepared to supply customers with every requisite in the Ironmongery trade at tile lowest market rates. THE FURNITURE DEPARTMENT possesses a special feature in the introduction of local woods into the manufactures, and the successful sale of articles of this nature merits the r.ppi'eoisAion of the Companv's efforts in this direction. Special attention is given to use o:ily such timber for this class of work as has been thoroughly seasoned by the new process lately introduced by the Company, and Customers can therefore he guaranteed against the failure of any articles from the use of unseasoned timber.
