GUTHRIE- AND LARNACH'S "VTEW ZEALAND TIMBER & WOODj3I WARE FACTORIES COMPANY (LIMITED), TIMBER MERCHANTS, DtTNEDIS, N.Z. w ERECTION OF TIMBER DRYING ROOMS. —The difficulty experienced by all consumers in procuring supplies of thoroughly Seasoned Timber i 3 -well known, and has induced the Company to erect at very considerable cost a complete set of Drying Rooms, capable of seasoning in one parcel over 100,OGO feet of timber, to meet this much-felt want. The Drying Rooms are now in full work, and the result has fully justified the expense incurred. It is intended to use only such timber as has been subjected to this process in making up Furniture and Woodware, and this cannot fail to favorably influence the demand for the Company's Manufactures. The attention of Builders and Contractors is specially drawn to the advantages derivable from the use of timber which has undergone this process of seasoning, and which are: A perfect freedom from clinging, and a consequent absence of the unseemly joints so noticeable in ordinary"workmanship, as well as a greater durability in the material employed. A knowledge of these facts must eventually lead to the extensive use of this Seasoned Timber in all works were such advantages are a desideratum. SEASONED TIMBER for the Trade will be supplied on favorable terms, which can be learned on application at the Company's Offices personally, or by letter. GUTHRIE AND LARNACH'S EW ZEALAND TIMBER & WOODWARE FACTORIES COMPANY (LIMITED), IMPORTERS, TIMBER, IRON AND FURNITURE MERCHANTS, DUNKDItr, N.Z., Have now fully completed the erection of their extensive Warehouses and the alterations to the Factory, and are enabled to notify that the facilities for prompt execution of orders, and the exhibition of their elaborate Stocks of Hardware, Furniture, Woodwares.and Timber (rough and manufactured of every descripiion), are unequalled in the Australian Colonies. The Factory may may be considered the moat elaborate ot its kind in the world, ami the expedition wii:h which the most intricate orders can be dispatched will com mend itself to the public. THE HARDWARE DEPARTMENT stocks are oE the most complete description, and are being largely added to on the arrival of each vessel from the British and American markets. Special Attenti-m is given to use only such timber for this class of work as has been thoroughly seasoned by the new process lately introduced bv the Company, and Customers can therefore he guaranteed against the failure of any articles from the u-e of unseasoned limber.
