New pLTMOtrrn, June 19. _ The Government steamer Stella arrived in the roadstead this morning at II o'clock. She encountered very bad weather, and was compelled to seek shetter at Crotxelles. LvrrEfroM, June 19. Arrived—Oakhurst, barbae, from Workington,. after a passage ot 100 days; all well. May Eitair, barque, from JElobart Town. The ship Soukar. which arrived yesterday, passed the dead body of a sailor on the passage, also a boat, which appeared to have been some time on the water. WEtxwvrojf, June 19. The schooner Shepherdess, which went ashore at Kaikoura, arrived in harbor today. She will have to undergo extensive repairs. * fa« 2)._ The ship City of Madrass arrived this morning, after a passage of 100 day». She brings seven passengers and a large cirgo. During the passage two deaths occurred—• one from heart disease, and the other from inflammation of the brain.
