up. ... The bar<ini' Gloria commenced taking m carv'iv for London, this morning. The Sophia, liarr(TientinH, Captain Bezer. arrived in the harbor last night.. She left Newcastle on tha 6th instant at noon, exchanged signals with the brig Elliotts, and passed her on tho 10th. Passed through c'ovaaax Strait® on the 15th; hove-to off Moeraki on the 16th at II p»m., and arrived as above-mentioned. Experienced strong southerly and south-west gales throughout the passage. She brings 2SO tons of coal for Mr. G. Hiimptsr. Passengers r— Mr. James Elliot BIa*«, and Mrs. Bezer and children, tr. Sumpter, agent.
