New furniture, unique and elegant, has been introduced into its suites, and no economy has been studied in making its Bedrooms what they are now admitted to be—lofty, airy, and replete with comfort. The Culinary department is conducted by one of .artistical skill, Luncheon on the table from 13 tijl 2 o'clook. Dinner waits the' arrival of passengers by the Express Train from the South till half-past 6 p.m. Travellers by railway will find this Hotel—both at the time of their arrival in and departure from the city, owing to its proximity to the Railway Station—more convenient for them than any other Hotel in Christchurch. A Porter will be in. attendance on the iarrival of Trains, to take charge of luggage, have it conveyed to the Hotel, and vice versa. A new Billiard - Room has also been recently erected and attached to the Hotel, which, for its extent, decorations, and completeness is at present unequalled in New Zealand. Travellers leaving the Hotel by early Trains will be called in due time, and Breakfast on the table for them at any hour required.
