Speculators are buying heavily in wheat and flour. Adelaide wheat is firmer in Adelaide at us. 2d. Numerous civil servants have been discharged at Brisbane. There is a good market for New Zealand potatoes. The squatters are actively moving out to let in surplus stock.
A number of French Communists have escaped frcm Brisbane gaol.
