The following is a fair sample of the experience of New Zealand farmers using this Sower : " Hassell, Son, and Co., Oamaru. "Sirs, —In reply to your questions in re Dobbie's Patent Sower, I beg to say that by only using one horse I sow wheat 45ft.; barley, 40ft. to 4oft.; oats, 30ft. to 40ft.; but if the horse is driven a little faster it will sow wider. When I first started the Sower I sowed GO acres in 6 hours, "The sowing is /ery regular, much better than nine-tenths of what I see sown by hand. " I found no difficulty at all in working the machine. I think that every farmer sliou}d have a sower, §s it does sway with the hardest work on the ffirrti; }n fact, sonje of my neighbors remarked whan they saw me sitting in the dray with my coat on sowing ten acres an hour, they said it was farming made easy. "Yours, &<3., " D. Bomiie. "Papakaio, May 2G, 1879." The train arrives at Deborah from Oamaru at 12.30. Come and judge for yourselves. They will sow all kinds of seed. A. W. BOBBIE.
