The Culinary department is conducted by one of artistical skill. Luncheon on the table from 12 till 2 o'clock. Dinner waits the arrival of passengers by the Express Train from the South till half-past 6 p.m. Travellers by railway will find this Hotel—both at the time of their arrival in and departure from the city, owing to its proximity to the Railway Station—more convenient for them than any other Hotel in Christehureh. A Porter will be in attendance on the arrival of Trains, to take charge of luggage, have it conveyed to the Hotel, and vice versa. A new Billiard Room has also been recently erected and attached to the Hotel, which, for its extent, decorations, and completeness is at present unequalled in New Zealand. Four of Alcock's finest Exhibitioi Tables have been imported from Melbourn for this magnificent room, in which lovers the game may luxuriate in the rricsA of the improved appliances and comv..its know to modern art. The Proprietor will bestow special attei tion in his selection of Wines for this estat lishmeut, and only the best will be supplied. OE Spirits, English and Colonial Ales, only the best approved brands will be kept. Care will be taken that the staff of servants employed at this Hotel will be only those who are found prompt and ready to bestow on visitors that attention to their wants, together with the full measure of civility which they have a right to expect or demand. Travellers leaving the Hotel by early Trains will be called in due time, and Breakfast on the table for them at any hour required. The luxury of Hot, Cold, and Shower Bath 3 may be enjoyed at all hours. The present Proprietor—Mr, T.
