Morris took first prize of Ll2 in match N\>. 9, ranges 200, 400, 500, and GOO rants, seven shots at cacti. His score "was— 25, 28, 21, 20—94. Harding, 25, 22, 23, 20—00; King, 24, 23, 19, 20— SG ; also took prizes in the match. In the North v. South match, ten men aside. King made 22, 27, 17 —6G ; and 1 Harding 25, 23,14—62. i In match 17—GOO, 500, and 400 yards, I« shots at each—King took the first prize ; (the Brewera' Cup, of the value of 10 | guineas), scoring 22, 27, 22—total 71. Being the last man to fire, he nearly lost his prize, owing to darkness setting in. Harding, with 22, 21, "25—total, GB, takes fifth prize. Morris made 14, 21, 2G—total, Gl. In this match there were 120 entries. In match 16, for the prizes presented by the Stoke Rifles—ranges, 200, 400, and 500 yards; seven shots—Morris made 23, 25, 25—total, 70 (?) ; Harding, 21, 23, 25—total, 69; and King, 23, 24, 21— total, 68.
