I DTJNEDIN RACES. [by telegraph.] Dunedix, Fob. 27. The weather to-day has been fine for the races. It was cloudy in the morning, but nov,- there is plenty of sunshine, and a fine cool atmosphere. There is a large attendance on the ground, the number probably being ten thousand. The grand stand is almost crowded, and the events have created great excitement. Much disappointment was excited in the morning by the scratching of- Titania and Boiardo for the Cup, the former being the favorite. It was even rumored that the race had been bought for Chancellor. 3IAIDKN" rI.ATE. Mr. S. Horsfall's br h Kin? Quail, 3 yrs 1 Mr. W. Sheepshanks' br g Milo, 5 yrs .. 2 Mr. W. (.'. Playboy and Boadicea were w.ell up on the leader's quarters, and made the pace hot. This position was maintained till passing the grand, when Boadicea ran into first place and Playboy assumed the second place. On nearing the mile-post, King Quail came away with a rush, and passing the leaders, piloted the way to the back of the course, with Dundee second and Milo third.
