A deputation interviewed the Deputy Postmaster-General to-day regarding the prohibition of the use of the code of figures in the cable messages to Europe, urging that it is an inconvenience to the mercantile community of the Colonies. The Deputy-Postmaster promised to take steps to ensure the representation of the Colonies at the International Conference to be held in July next. In the match England v.
