At the Trial held under the of the Royal Agricultural Society of England at Bristol, August 6th: Decision of the Judges—M'CORMICK'S SHEAF BINDER fulfilled the conditions of the Society, and was awarded THE GOLD MEDAL. At the Riccarton Trial, January 24th, 1878, three fourths of the farmera preferred the M'Cormick Reaper and Binder, jmd were prepared to give their unsolicited verdict in its favor. At the Kaiapoi Trial, February 7th, 1878, the FIRST PRIZE, given by the Farmers' Club, was awarded to the M'Cormick Machine. At the Oamaru Trial, February 27tb, 1878, THE GOLD MEDAL Given by the Northern Agricultual and Pap toral Association, Oamaru, Otago, vr» awarded to the M'Cormick Machine. At the Ashburton County Trial, at Methven, on March 6th, IS7B, the FIRST PRIZE was awarded to the driver of the only M'Cormick Machine present in competition with Twelve Machines of another make. At the Public Trial, held under the aua pices of the Otago Agricultural and Pastoral Association, at the Grange, Taieri, on March 16th, IS7B, the thirty Judges appointed were unanimous in awarding the FIRST PRIZE TO THE M'COEMICIv MACHINE.
