(FROM OUK OWN CORRESPONDENT.) CHRISTCHURCH. January 28. Walter Bullivani was brought up yesterday charged with ten cases of forging awl uttering. His victims were tradesmen and hotelkeepers, the total being L.->2. Mrs. Johns, two girls, and baby were thrown out of a trap near the River Rakia. Mrs. Johns was badly hurt, but the girls were uninjured. The baby died. The Governor pays a farewell visit to Christchurch on 12th February. A levee is to be held. At the annual meeting for the election of School Committee, held in East Christchurch, Mr. Han-is drew attention to the fact that the smallest district had equal power of nomination with the largest.
