He also took first prize at the Waikouaiti and Shag Valley Agricultural and Pastoral Association's Shows of 1572 and 1573 ; and the first prize at the Blucskin Agricultural and Pastoral Association's Show, IS7o. A two-year-old filly by Prince, belonging to Mr. John Duncan, Cherry Farm, Waikouaiti, took first prize at Oamaru iu lb7(i, and second at Taieri the same year. Prince has an excellent temper, immense bone, good action, is a sure foal-gcttcr, and is acknowledged by competent judges to be the best Clydesdale Horse bred in the Colony.
