(FROM OCR OWN CORRESPOXDEXTS.) London, Nov. 25. The Liberals are organising opposition to the voting of supplies. In Afghan the advance of the British forces continues without conflict, and will probably terminate at Condaha and Jellahabad until spring. The German Legation at Copenhagen will not return till the King of Hanover departs. The Duke of Cumberland has left. "War is feared. November 2G. Fenton and Sons, Rockdale, bankers, have failed far half a million. # AUSTRALIAN NEWS. Sydney, November 27. The Embassy proposals have been defeated. There has been a great meeting at Melbourne re strike, which still remains uueompromised. The revolt in New Caledonia continues active. On the ] S)th November the natives in great force attacked Kliio Kove simultaneously. The engagement lasted from noon until sunset. The natives were defeated ; there were thirty killed and seventy wounded. Thirteen settlers were barbarously massacred on the '2oth at the River Poya. Six thousand Chassapot cartridges were taken. A brutal massacre has occurred in the outlying district. Only settlers were killed, no soldiers. There has been shocking military inactivity.
