RIFLE MATCH.
<£► No. 1 Company Oamartt Rifles v. Wellington City Rifles. A match was fired to-day between the Wellington City Rifles and the Oamaru Rifles. The local team had not very favorable weather, the light being rather uncertain, and the wind, as usual of late, at times strong and gusty, particularly so at the 500 yards range. Quartermaster-Sergeant King made an exceedingly good score, which was closely followed by that of Vol. A. Hardy. The scores, on the whole, maj' be considered of a fair average, as the following will show *
