A two-jar-old filly by PriDce, belonging to Mr. •jhn Duncan, Cherry Farm, Waikouaiti, tok first prize at Oamaru in 1876, and at Taieri the same year. Prince has a excellent temper, immense bone, good afcion, is a sure foal-getter, and is acknowldged by competent judges to be the best Cydesdale Horse bred in the Colony. Dam, Bt.ossom—Blossom, got by Kettle's S? William Wallace (imported) ; granddm by Miller's Wallace (imported). Blossom gined the iirst prize at Blueskin in 1872, as arearling ; first prize at Blueskin in 1873, a:a two-year-old ; as a three-year-old, was fist at Palraerston and first at Blueskin in 1.74 ; as a four-year-old, was first at Blueski, as a brood mare, in 1575; as a five-yar-old, in IS7G, was placed second at Plmerston, and first at Blueskin as 3 six-yar-old iu 18/7, was iirst at Blueskin, and! w,s also awarded first prize for the best aimai in the yard.
