Thoroughbred Horses and Hacks, Ayrshire and General Cattle, Sheep, Pigs, Poultry, Dairy Produce, ®wed Meats, Implements, Flour and Bread, Grain and Seods, and Dogs, will be judged and exhibited on the first day of the Show ; and Draught Horses, Shorthorn Cattle, on the second day. All live stock taking prizes on the first day of the Show must be on exhibition on the second day, together with the exhibits in all other classes, under a penalty of L 5 in all classes where the value of the prizes is L 5 or over ; and in all other classes, L2 for a first prize, and LI for a second. 2. All exhibits for competition must be on the Show Ground as hereinafter stated, otherwise they will be excluded and will not be admitted on any pretence whatever Sheep and Pigs, before a.m.; Cattle, a.m.; Horses, Dairy Produce. Poultry, etc., a.m. on the days lixed for exhibition; and Implements, on the evening of the 20th November. All Horses must ho haltered and led, and one ■man must be in attendance with each lot of Honied Cattle. 3. The name and residence of the exhibitor and breeder ; of Sheep, the time of shearing ; of young Horses and Cattle, the date of birth :ts far as known—must be given to the Secretary, at the time and in the manner fixed by tho Committee. 4. All stock exhibited must he bonajide tho proporty of the exhibitor. 5. No exhibitor will be allowed to exhibit more than one lot in all sections in Classes O, P, S, T, U. (5. In no case shall a premium bo adjudged unless tho Judges shall deem the lot of sufficient merit, more especially if there be no competition. 7. Animals taking first prizes at this Showwill not compete again as one of a pair, but this shall not apply to private prizes. No Sheep to be removed from pens (except by direction of the Judges) after adjudication until 4 o'clock p.m. 8. The winners of Cups or Pieces of Plate shall not bo entitled to receive the Medals representing the points by which the Cups were won. 9. No Cups will bo given unless there be at least 20 exhibits, with not less than three axhibitors. 10. In the event of ties for any Cup, the winner of the largest number of first prizes takes precedence. The points for prizes will count as follows :—lst prize, three (3) points ; 2nd prize, two (2) points ; 3rd prize (represented by a highly commended ticket), one (1) point. 11. Prize-takers to have tho option of taking Money iu lieu of Medals. 12. All Implements shall be classified on the Ground, in accordance with programme, under the direction of the Stewards. 13. All protests must be in writing, and lodged along with deposit of LI, with the Secretary, before 12 o'clock on the morning after tho Show of Stock or Articles to which tho protest refers. The decision of the Mauaging Committee to be final. 14. The Judges, in deciding on the merits of exhibits in Section 13, Class A, are directed to award prizes to those animals best suited for work, irrespective of money value. In Sheep, the Judges are instructed to award prizes to the animals of purest Mood, as entered in tho various classes. 15. No exhibit, except such Live Stock as havo not been awarded prizes (prize-takers may be removed by permission, to be returned on tho second day for exhibition), can lie removed from tho Ground until 4 o'clock on the last day of the Show, and on both days beforo that hour a special order from tho Secretary will be required. 16. Tho Stewards in the various classes are enjoined and empowered to prevent any person interfering with tho Judges during adjudication; and no exhibitor or other person (other than Judges, Stewards, and Secretary) will be permitted to go inside the ring while the Cattle and Horses are being judged, except in such cases as the Stewards may doem necessary. 17. Members, on presentation of their cards, will be admitted, with their families, free to all the Exhibitions of the Association. 18. No entry will be received unless subject to the regulations of the Committee.
Admission to the Show Ground :—2s. 6d. to 12 o'clock ; aftor that time, Ib., oil both days. Children, half price. The supporters of the Association are reminded that their annual subscriptions of LI are due; and in order to enable it to meet tho liberal prizes offered, it is respectfully requested that subscriptions be paid and donations be made at an early date, to any member of the Committee, or to the Secretary, at the office of the Association. In Cattle, Sheep, Pigs, Implements, Dairy Produce, and Grain and Seeds—Members, 6a ; non-members, IDs. In Poultry, Cured Moats, Bread, Flour, and Extras, Wool and Dugs—Members, 2k <jd ; pou-inenibers, f>s. For all Private Prizes, an entry o£ 2s 6d will bo charged. Entries will bo received, on or before Thursday, November 7th ; subsequent to which date, no entry will, upon any consideration, be received. The Committee will in no case consider »ny entry valid, unlesß the fees bo paid at the timo of t*aking it.
