AUCTION KKK ' lIK PORTS. Mr A H. Maude reports that he held a aalr, 'at his stores, Tyno-streef., yesterday, of Gemeral Morchmdi-e. Groceries. Wines Spirits, Drapery, etc. There was a moderate attendance of buyers, and fair prices wore realised for the various lots submit ed Messrs. Goo.\R. Freeman and Co. report that they held an extensive sale of freehold land, horses, etc., on Saturday at Waunate. About 4J ii ores of bu.-.h land realised Llls ; 13 town seet-ons brought prices varying from Lls to L4O each, and hilf an acre with a house, fetched LIP 4. The home sale was well attended, and the prices were satisfactory ; first-clasa draught horses tetc ing from LSO to LGO ; medium, 1.33 to L'lo Messrs. Brown, Sution. and < 'o. report holding a saie of grain, &c, at their stores, Tyne-street, this day. The attendance was good. Best milling wheat brought 3s 9Jtd ; inferior, 3s 3d. Cats and potatoes not reachJEg reserves, were passed in.
