TO-MORROW'S PROCEEDINGS.

The train with His Excellency the Governor, the Members of Parliament, and other public bodies, will arrive at the Railway Station at half-past 12 o'clock. The Municipal Council address will be presented on a platform which is to be placed between the Passenger station and goods shed. At 12.35 the train will leave for the Breakwater, where at 12.40 the Harbor Boa~d Address will be presented and His Exc.llency will open the New "Wharf. The train will arrive at the station from the Breakwater at 1 p.m., and five minutes afterwards luncheon, to last 20 minutes, will be commenced. The train will leave for Dunedin at 1.30 p. m.

The arrangements seem to have been made with great care by the Municipal, Council and the Harbor Boards with .the valuable assistance of Mr. Loring, the Dig. triot Station Master, and it is to b# hopei that nothing "will occur -to' mar th* pleasure that all should derive from. the celebration of an event so impor- • tant in the. history of the. Colony. , -as it would be impossible to accommodatethe whole of the public within the which will be -erected near the RailwSJV!? Station, it is desired that, only the guesti| and members of public bodies will seek admission within it. The volunteers will be stationed near the platform, while the address from the Municipal Council is being presented, and, on the return of the party from the Break water,"will form !in line between the station and Mr. Snmpter's stores. The party will return to the station by way of Harbor-street after the lunch. It is probable that the day will be observed as a holiday, but that, in order that the visitors may see all the sights worth seeing in Oamaru, the shop-windows will wear their everyday appearance.
