AUCTIONEKKS* REPORTS. Messrs. Brown. Sutton, and Co., report holding a sale of horses. Sec. at the Commercial Yards, on Saturday. The attendance was good and the bidding spirited throughout, heavy draughts being in great demand, aad realising as follows :—Roan horse. 3 year* L4I ; grey gelding, 3 years, LSO : baycolt, 2 years, L 49: bay horse, 4 years. 1,-1o : 1 bay horse, 5 years. L 53 ; brown mare, 4 years, L2S 10s; and 1 bay horse. 5 years. L 55. Hacks : Only two were offered, one inferior bringing L 7 IDs. A pair of verypretty carriage horses were; knocked down at L 62; 4 yearling colts brought from I 6 to L 8; second-hand double baggy, L 24 ;; set doable harness, L 7 5s : and ! side saddle, Ulfis.
