Intending Competitors must send in their Entries to the Secrotary, Mb. E. 0. Smith:, Duntroon, not later than 25th SEPTEMBER, 187S, accompanied with Entrance Fee (10a), as also colour, NA.MK, and AOB of Dog eutcred. Places will bo drawn for. There will bo two (2) Classes—one for Dogs of any age, and ono for Dogs aged 18 months and under. There will be First, Second, and Third Prizes awarded for each Class. Four sheep will bo allowed f»r each competitor. Six hurdles to form a pen, the gato to act as a wing. Any Competitor when working his Dog must remain within (50) fifty yards of the pen. In the Trial for aged Dogs, no Dog will be allowed to start before the sheep are {■!<) half a mile from the pen ; (20) twenty miuutes will be allowed for yarding from tho time of Btart. In the Trial for Young Dogß, no Dog will be allowed to start before the. sheep are (GOO) five hundred yards from tho pen ; time and sheep same as for old Dogs. Prizes will be awarded according to point* in each Class—viz., 5 points for the best heading ; 3 points for the Dog which brings the sheep back best ; 2 points for the Dog, which yards the sheep best; 2 points for the Dog best under command.
